    Default phalaenopsis stuartiana

I love this species! It always seems to be at home and happy in my garden. It flowered so profusely in multibranching spikes last two months ago- and this is what's left of the flowers at this point of time.

This phal came from the Philippines - closely related to P.Schilleriana in its habit and culture requirements. Yes, the leaves are also striped with silvery green. Likes warmth and humidity and some shade. The flowers are nicely scented like crisp rose. It should bloom at least twice a year.

Love it!! The mottled leaves are great to make it more attractive when it's not in bloom.
