    Sweetie,

This one could be almost anything. It surprises me every time I go into a big box stores and see five white phals that look just alike and look at their tags--all different parents!

Very similar, except it is fully open now and the lateral petals are stilled crossed over in front of the dorsal sepal and there is some chartreuse coloring on the lip of mine. What the heck did I do now in posting, to get all that gibberish next to the foto?

That happened in one of my posts yesterday I think - I don't know that it was anything I did in particular, as the other two photos uploaded at the same time were fine. I just assumed it was all to do with my proxy server issues that mean I haven't actually been able to see most of the images on the forum from home.

Nothing like a clean white Phal is there... so common and yet still so pretty! No wonder we all go ga-ga over these.

Very pretty Ischel, sorry can't help with the name.

Look up phal amabilis. Some of the amabilis photos have yellow, some have green on the edge of the lip.

    Hi Ischel,

THe giberish is due to the name of your uploaded photo. Since it contained the word 'phal', and phal is in our glossary, the software tried to turn it into a link to the glossary instead of your photo. Try renaming your photos with numbers and that should not happen.

    cheers,
    BD

    BTW - Beautiful white phal.!
