yep, actually never really rested any of it. I fish the PBs and we went right thru the winter, with a decent ling bite (at times) when the tog slowed down. most of the boats shut down in early march though, for repairs, but I hope to go out again this week. It was driving me crazy not to fish for a few weeks so went to the keys last week in search of bigger fish...the winds were absolutely horrendous, blowing 25-35 knots the whole time, so didn't get in as much fishing as I had planned. did get in a lot more rum drinks and lounging, lol. managed my first sail, 50-60#, in the biggest seas I ever care to be in (8-10' rollers and wind against tide in a 27 foot boat). that fish beat me up too, didn't waste its energy jumping, fighting deep the whole time, and took off right INTO the wind.
