Default Phal with 3 ft. + flower spike

My dear friend decided I needed a couple more phals....so we went digging through some really neglected phals that were blooming in spite of their conditions. I brought the two large phals home, treated the roots and repotted them quick. I have no idea what their names are. We'll call the dark red one 'Tall Boy' and the pink one "Spike" due to it's branching and blooming habit. I cleaned them both up and then got out the measuring tape. As the pictures show, Tall Boy is over 3 ft tall with two spikes both of which are branching like crazy. Spike has three spikes that are also branching to high heaven. It took a bunch of pic's to really show them well. Hope you'll forgive me for the two separate posts and the large download. But these deserve to be showed off....they are just the biggest Phals I'd ever seen, let alone that despite their neglect they look like this.....
Hope you enjoy my nameless little pretties....

first...Tall Boy this one is too amazing...the leaves are just huge, not to mention the spikes....

    Default Spike

This one is just as impressive size wise. I'll include a comparison with my hand to show how huge the leaves are.

Would the 3 feet + spike be pendulous in nature or is it sturdy enough to support itself straight up?

I love the colour and texture of the petals on the 1st one! Were they expensive?
