Default New equestris from IOS meeting

    Hi,

I just wnted to share these pictures of my new equestris. I got it on Friday from the IOS meeting while I was with Kfir. We picked it out together. In the second photo, you can see how small the bloom is, compared to a big white phal bloom.

    I just love it!!
    Thanks for looking

    Fadi

there is something really ethereal about that photo of your equestris... the petals and sepals look like angel wings hovering over a lady wearing a yellow top and a pink skirt...

    lovely, just lovely....

Thanks Bruce...I really hope it does well. It just keeps on drying so quickly...I have been misting it heavily 3 times a day since I got it.

Bench: I can't believe it! You are so observant. After reading your post, I looked at the pictures again and its true; it does look like a lady with angel wings....cool

If it is drying out that fast, you may be better off potting it up in a small bark mix. Good luck.

Thanks BD. I might just do that Actually. It is very hard for me also to maintain high humidity in my house, even though I use a humidifier, since I have them in an open area. Hopefully, next month I will be setting up a special room for my Orchids and then I am sure I will be able to have higher humidity and better growing conditions for my Orchids.
