    Default Onc ascendens

This is a first bloom of a seedling obtained 4 years ago, from a downed branch I came across while hiking in Belize. It is a rat-tailed Onc. I have it growing on a piece of treefern Medium bright light. Moist in warm weather dryer in winter. My larger one, blooms early spring and the flowers are not clumped at the end of the spike but more evenly spaced.

They are beautiful. How did you ever manage to get them home from Brazil?

this one came from Belize. I made arrangements with a guide prior to going down there. He arranged the paper work for me and shipped to me after I was home. It was a bit pricey but way cool to have orchids that I personally collected.

It is nice - and a special prize from your trip.
