No Andrea, I did nothing with it and it's not a keiki but flower spike...
Sometimes orchids do something like this and it called a terminal spike,
then orchid can't grow from the middle as normal anymore.
But I hope it grow later maybe some basal keiki and stays not only like foliage plant..

I am sorry for your orchid. Very interesting, however. I did not know that this could happen. Joe

Both of you have great Dtps Firecrackers. I love this one. Mine is in my avatar for the moment--same clone. And it just flowers and flowers and flowers--over fifty blooms this year! crazy little thing. probably would have done more, but I finally cut the spike to give it a rest.

You know, I haven't seen a Phal like that in years that re-ignited my passion for them. Most of the time I'm like "ho hum", but I have GOT to have that clone. Please PM me where you got it.

(Terminal spike is not usually a good sign...)

    You are right..
Actually it's a end of life of that Orchid...
But maybe a basal keiki can take it over..

All beautiful. This one is going on my list also. Is it finicky to grow?
