    Default Phal. Memoria Cecillia Rheinland

I am already starting to buy myself orchids for my birthday! I'm only about 1 1/2 weeks early. Ah well...this little thing was so pretty. It was on a sale table because this lady only sells them full price if they are "perfect". No missing blooms etc. So, as this one seems to have two different color flowers she had it on the sale table. Also, some of the flowers are missing. It's a double spiker and it is just so pretty.....and since this one was so inexpensive I can get more!

The tag was tough to read, but I think it says: Phal. Memoria Cecilia Rhnland (mericlone) The last name was actually Rimland after I found it online....oops.

There were also a few sicko's she was getting rid of I am trying to rescue. 2 dens, a phal, and a Dgma. The last one is huge, but the bulbs have some squishy stuff. If I keep it really dry for abit will the bulbs stop the squishy stuff or is that one hopeless??

    Nice ones!

Squishy bulbs usually indicate root loss. You may want to unpot that one and check the roots and put it in bark...keep humid...treat with Physan and pray

I knew someone would tell me the way to fix it. Thank You! It's just too pretty to let it die. And it's still got it's tag!! lol

Hi Connie that phal is a beauty! As for the squishy stuff, best to cut it out if you can. Most of the time it spreads unless you can cut it out and save the rest of the plant. Good luck.
