    Zain, it's common to use this sterefoam? All my phals are grows attached to fern board or on normal potting media. I guess the stereofoam will not made the roots rot, as heavy rains accurs in this rainy seasons..

    Hi, e4rly,Welcome to this forum I hope soon you will show us the species that you have. OK.Its not common to use Styrofoam but for short term as commercial yes, for long term is not recommended because its dry very fast, need regular watering.Its seldom get roots rot.Through my observation appendiculata like styrofoam rather than pot.
