    Nope. They are mounted on foot-long coffee and kakawate (madre de cacao) small branches.

    Nelson amazing....I like the first and second photo looked like paradise of flowers. Just to inquire from you how low the temperature night time until it stimulate the flowering? My night temperature the lowest it can go is 23 degree Celsius but all the time 24 degree Celsius.I love this species but it refused to bloom. Is there any stuartiana that you found can be blooming at the night temperature 24 degree C?

    These plants are in my farm near Tagaytay, which is almost always at least 2 to 3 degrees C cooler than Manila, both in daytime and nighttime.

    These group of plants were divided into two smaller groups, one mounted individually and under almost full sun almost all day. The plants in the other group were naturalized, e.g., planted on tree trunks. The plants on the tree trunks grew slower and hardly bloomed.

    That, perhaps illustrates what they need to grow and bloom well. I think KL and Manila have almost the same conditions, as I have been there several times.
