Phal gigantea

    Beautiful!

    Maybe it hides its blooms under the leaves to protect them from the sun or to put them nearer to the natural polinator (whatever it is).

    Nice one and one of my favorite Phal species but I have no room for it. The coloration and spotting on yours is very nice. Does it have a clonal name? (Any award potential there.)

    Phal gigantea is scented, which is rare for a Phalaenopsis. Maybe it doesn't have to display its blossoms in such a grandiose fashion in order to attract the pollinator of choice...

    It was raining today so scent was mild and earthy. I do recall it having a more pleasant scent
