    Default Oncidium sphacelatum

    This one is not for the faint hearted...

    Quite an easy to grow plant that takes in almost up to half a day of direct morning sun and temperature ranges from 4 celsius in winter to 40 celsius in summer.

    space may be an issue though....

    It's beautiful to see all those blooms cascading on your (incredibly sparse) writing desk. Very pretty and so many flowers!

    it can become a very large plant but the reward from the # of flowers can make up for it...next year the dining room table will be filled, LOL

    that is wonderful! Gin gave me one of these and it is already huge. I am just waiting for blooms. I think I may need to move it around to more light and a warmer location though after reading your post. I hope I can bloom it to look half as wonderful as you bloomed your Tim. That is awesome!!

    that's an amazing size and very beautiful! how long have you had it ?
    I have one too (got it in april ) but it's nowhere near the size of yours... and hasn't yet flowered.. Can't wait until it does! thanks for posting the pics of your beauty.

    lol, thanks everyone... Nen, i got this as a two growth plant in Nov 2004... so I guess it takes awhile to get to this size
