Thumbs up New Monster Phal noids!

I wanted to share with you guys pictures of my latest aquired Orchids which were really on a great deal!
Yesterday I was in the West Bank town of Tulkarem, giving training to NGOs, when I saw this small greenhouse. I was really surprised to find Orchids there. The owner told me not too many people were interested in Orchids so I knew I was gonna get a great deal(I bought 2 Phals-$17 each!)
Now the first one in the first set of pics has 5 spikes! Can you just believe that! I was really stunned when I saw it 3 of the spikes seem to be older and are re-branching. The other two are new. The bigest leaf is about 17 inches. The second one in the second set of pictures is a bit smaller.

    Thanks for looking!

That's awesome!! I have bought myself some impressive noids, as well (who hasn't?). There IS one bad thing. These noids are so stressed to produce that many spikes, that it could take them a while to get into a normal growing-blooming cycle. Unless of course, it's a matter of good genes, so that would be great!
If you really want those spikes to mature, try and keep those phals in as similar conditions as you found them grown in (regarding temperature and light...the watering part is fairly easy). The perfect spot to grow them isn't the perfect spot to show them.

Thanks guys for all your comments. I will try to take some better pics when it is not dark to get better quality. Giovanna, I hope that they are are not having mutiple spikes beacuse of stress. I actualy thought about it. I am hoping for the other option of good genes
I will try to somehow check out the condition of the roots without disturbing much this weekend but from what I saw from the plastic pot, they seem ok.
I will also follow up with bloom pictures hopefully!
