    Default My 1st re-bloomed phal!

I am very pleased with myself! This is the first phal that I have ever rebloomed, and it happenes to be my favorite of all of my phals. I bought in bud last Apri, but nearly all the buds blasted and I only got 2 flowers.

I got a keiki off of it and for awhile in the summer it wasn't doing very well, but once I repoted it into sphagnum moss it perked up and started a spike about 3 months ago.

It is a cute little flower about one inch across.

PS. As an added bonus the keiki that it put out is now in spike and ready to bloom soon! It is pretty small but has many buds. I am guessing that there is the species equestris in the backround of it.

    Thanks for looking.

Very nice--congratulations on your first re-bloom. And, yes, the flower shape definitely suggests there is equestris in its ancestry. Actually, the keiki is also suggestive of that.

    Cheers,
    Rob
