    Smile Phalaenopsis micholitzii

Quite sometimes I haven't post phalaenopsis species. Here I got 8 mature plants bought early last year, seedling from the same flasks. This time 4 of them rewarding me with pure white green with nice fragrance.I like the variations among them.Unfortunately I cannot focus some of the flowers due to short flower stalk and crowded leaves.

The spikes of this species is not free flowering all the time come into the dormant stage, until the condition is matched than flowers bud appear.

What conditions do you create to get the spike to come out of its "dormant stage" ? Just curious ...

Period of dry spell ( from nature) and frequent fertilizer with NPK ratio 67 will come out positive effect ( base on my observation for the past one year may be not enough). Original source of this species is from Philippine. Probably Ron or Nelson has better info. Zain.
