    Thanks for the kind words, Lizgeo. When I bought this it had a pretty substantial spike, but then kept growing and growing and growing. (like the Energizer Bunny, sort of)
    I don't know if I got lucky or if this variety is known for prolific spikes.

    It was grown in my upstairs bedroom window that has a South exposure and a bank of
    four T5 florescents supplementing the natural light for 5 hours a day. I brought it
    down to my living room to enjoy the blooms.

    None whatsoever.

    Wow I want one of those I have WILSONARA KOLIBRI but it has white markings in it I really like the way yours stands out great plant
