    Oh yeah. Very nice. That dark lip is a great contrast to the rest of the flower.

    Look at the last photo the lip color......maroon ...lovely.

    Actually, Ron, this one is a primary hybrid of P. parishii & lobbii. Some of the offspring have the brown lip of lobbii and others, like mine, the purple lip of parishii

    this is as beautiful as the parents!!! good growing Paul.

    is this easier to grow than the species? coz i really love those two species but i don't do well with phals in general..

    I've never tried growing either one of the parents, Tim, so I really can't say. In addition mine is in a terr, largely because it is mounted and mounts generally don't do well for me otherwise (my air is too dry).
