Default Tolumnia Marilyn LeDoux and Tolumnia Pink Profusion

Today we had a guest speaker, Marilyn LeDoux, at our society meeting. She spoke about the Botanical Gardens in MO where she used to tend orchids for many years. After her presentation, she asked the audience questions. Sarah (Sadie) got the first one correct and won a plant. After her, I correctly answered the last two questions and won two plants. Here they are:

Wow, congratulations! Nice prizes! I like the peachy tinge of the first one, and the shape and color of the lavender one are lovely too.

Thanks, Angie. I am thinking about mounting one of them, but I am worried that I will let it get to dry and kill it. lol. I *think* I am going to mount the pink one when I get some time this summer. Thoughts on this, anyone??

    Cheers,
    BD

    Congrats! I love tolumnias.

I don't mount my orchids, though I hear tolumnias do very well mounted. Mine are in the smallest possible clay pot, so that is almost a mount.

I have 3 Tolumnias theyre all the same variety Tolumnia tsuki 'vanessa' I have one of them mounted and two of them in little tiny mesh pots, I mounted the first one about 4 weeks ago and it seems to be doing well but I spray it daily and it gets a bath about once a week it seems to be growing ok but the proof will be if I get any of them to flower for me, yours are gorgeous, I love these little orchids and I pray mine will bloom for me!
