    Default My 2009 Phalaenopsis orchids

I've been lazy about posting my new acquisitions. Here's the bunch purchased in 2009!

    NOID mini-phal purchased today

    March purchases:
dtps little gem stripes- The buds on the main & sub-spikes blasted during the last heat wave. Luckily the 2 other spikes survived and just started blooming. It's hard to tell from the pictures, but the stripes are substantially less pronounced on the 2nd & 3rd spikes.

The flowers on that little gem stripe look like the ones on my NOID phal. Mine does the same thing too. There are double cascades on each spike (3 spikes), and one side has the stripes, while the other cascade is pure white.

Don't think so Carrie. The form and color on mine is different.

Stacey, how did I miss your update?

Maybe they are the same. Certainly do look similar. Mine is still in full flower, so I'm a very happy girl.
