    Default Phalaenopsis violacea--BLUE

I am so freaking excited about this one! I purchased it as a seedling a year and a half ago (4 seedlings in all), and I am so excited! The breeding lines give you the chance of getting a blue violacea, but it is equally possible that you will get magenta. I really, really wanted blue . . . .

Did I mention they smell wonderful? Yeah, heavenly. (Okay, even I know I am totally overreacting, but I am just so excited!)

I've been watching it like a hawk, pretty sure it would be blue and this morning, it opened. Ta-da! The first picture shows the true color while the second is a picture with the flower open a bit more.

Wow! What a beautiful color. No wonder you were hoping for it. I'm glad you got your wish. Have any of the other seedlings bloomed yet?
