Default Weird phal

Hey all,

I received this phal today as a "thank you " present.
Then I noticed that the blooms are really WEIRD.
They are missing 2 petals and have instead 2 extra lips where the petals should be.
It's not only one flower but it seems as if all the blooms are like that.
Has anyone experienced this before and will future blooms be like this?

It was hard to take a pic since most blooms haven't opened up yet or are half open.

Peloric blooming.
Might be just for this blooming , stress can sometimes produce flower structures like you have but they do revert for the next stress free blooming.
If it,s truly peloric then they will always be the same.
Lets have a nice close up of a fully open bloom please.
I find peloric blooms fascinating.
Link below might be some use.

Uncasteeb, I'll take a new pic when the blooms have opened up more.
By the way, thanks for that link, I found it very interesting.

I' very curious to see what happens with the blooms next year, if they will keep their appearance or not.
