Default Mtssa. Kalaepaa 'Kauai Princess'

This is only my 2nd to bloom on my own....it actually bloomed in November. I know....I need a photography class.

Wow - nice flower shape and color! It's not as spidery as some of them can get. How big are the flowers? Nice job!

Thanks! Julie, not terribly large, maybe 3 1/2 or 4 but this was the first blooming for the plant. When I saw the spike in the early Fall I almost passed out.

LOL - I know that OMG! feeling. I too have some sleepers from whom I'm awaiting such a surprise.

How long did the spike grow to? (I used to think that size didn't count, but I'm coming around...)

May 2005 be filled with happy surprises!
