    Yay, good for you! Whenever I leave the spikes on my tolumnias they just dry up!

    hi margo,
    thats top class and something new!
    my tolumnia is not doing well, it got some bugs and probably a grasshoper bit almost through the spike, but its still hanging in there!
    im still confused with the spike though, if its a keiki or what.

    would you mind posting pix of the whole plant?

    thanks a lot, that was helpful. im sure now i have a keiki and hope this one will make it, although its a extreme slow grower i noticed.

    Ron, I only had it for several weeks and I don't know if it's slow grower. I noticed couple of days ago a new growth on it. How the keiki looks like? Can you post a pic?!

    hehe, now its my turn for a pix.
    but as i said, the plant was battling. you can see th spike was almost chewed off right in the middle.

    wow, took me less than 5 minutes replieng after your post! do i get a prize for it?lol

    Yours doesn't look happy at all... I think you should send it over...lol
    Grower that I got my from told me they like to be bare root just like vanda. You think you want to try this?

    yes, i was thinking of mounting it bare rooted, so far it actually looks better than 2 weeks ago, so i assume it recovers.
