    Default Some Phals in bloom

Just wanted to share some Phals that are in bloom at my house. The only one I have an ID for is the one that appears in the 2nd and 4rth pics. (It's Dtps. Newberry Parfait 'Picotee' AM/AOS).

Both the Spotted Phal and the Dtps are ones that I have re-bloomed, oddly enough the color of the blooms seem more vivid than when I first bought them in bloom. (Maybe wishful thinking on my part, or accidentally good culture)

Anyone want to play "Name that Orchid" and try to ID the spotted one? (Actually it's probably more properly called "Harlequin")

Beauty ! I like the harlequin types very much. You also seem to have a nice set up for your plants. Great job.

It is always hard to tell the names of phals, but if i had to guess, I would say the pink and white with the stripes and picotee edge is Dtps. Newberry's Parfait Picotee and the harlequin is something like Dtps. Ever Spring King or Dtps. Yu Pin Pearl. I am actually more confident with the Newberry's Parfait identification--harlquins have so much variation that it is pretty tough to truthfully identify them.

They are both lovely by the way.

Very beautiful blooms, and they all seem to be doing really well under your care in that little corner. Actually orchid flowers do change substance and colour under particular growing conditions; Light levels and fertilizer(potassium mainly) play an important role in enhancing blooms. So Well done!

They are absolutely gorgeous, I especially like the Harlequin but can't help with a name unfortunately. Well done on getting them to flower so beautifully, I hope mine give as good a show when they bloom.
