    this is one of the nicest bloomings of this plant. I didn't have time to count the # of flowers, it was close to dark when I took pic it just glowed across the greenhouse! Looked like a flock of sulfer butterflies from a distance

    My H calls them "spanish ladies".... & seeing I'm Italian I had to ask him what a shower was.... (as he is British- uk)

    to answer your question no, I live just under the Loire river estuary (Loire Atlantique- @Saint-brevin -les Pins at the moment (climate is average + 5°C than in Brittany)
    But I l did live in the 'south' of Brittany for 5 yrs from '95 to '99- then got fed up with the weather & ended up on the Med for another 4 yrs!! and lived in Charente Maritime in between..
    going back to the subject - As far as I am concerned - Yep, this flowering is very cool!it's a noid onc..which I left the spikes grow how they wanted..ie: towards the west facing window it is in front of..
