    Hey Guys,

Its been a while since I last posted but I have not given up my orchid interests and I haven't forgotten about you guys..its just me being lazy Although I have been neglecting my Orchids lately, I was surprised to see in bloom a couple of days ago, Phal violacea var sumatra(bought it a year ago and never seen its bloom) I really like this one. It is small but beautiful and very delicate.

    Thanks for looking guys.

Hi Fadi - great to hear from you! Cool looking bellina coerulea too. I bet it is fragrant!

    Cheers,

    Hey guys,

Sent pics to shop I bought it from in Brussels and he told me he was mistaken when he sold it and this is what he said:

"As for the bellina , from the picture you did send me i'm forced to
recognized that it is not a bellina , it's a violacea ( aka violacea var
sumatra while bellina is aka violacea var borneo hence the mix. This name
change hasn't been accepted yet by all taxonomist furthermore pre 1975
crosses of violacea's where perfectly valid but since no name changed was
applied yet , the name violacea has to be accepted even if not true (
    complicated , huh ? )"

I like how the flower is sitting so nicely on top of the leaves, as opposed to under them like so many of this type tend to do.
