Default Brassia longissima x Brassidium Issaku Nagata

Here is a pic of yet another Brassia hybrid, brought to you once again by my addiction! I can't get enough of the spider orchids. This guy has two spikes each about 2 feet long, filled with wonderfully fragrant flowers. The scent fills nearly the whole house in the morning and evening.

Thanks Bruce! That's quite a compliment coming from you.

I wish it were so with everything....my orchids love me, tropical terrestrials and terrestrial orchids tolerate me, but those North American species (like cacti and roses, etc...) hate my guts. I struggle with them. I just broke my nearly 2 year no kill streak with a couple of miniature roses my daughter really wanted. Should have known better!

This line made me laugh out loud, this is so true for all of us!

Beautiful bloom, what does it smell like if you had to describe the fragrance?

Thanks guys! This orchid is SO fragrant. After the sun comes up it is like someone lit 5 candles in the house.

@Rosalia-- Which one did you buy?
