Default Some phals in bloom Jan 2010

Again, some pictures from me of what's in bloom at the moment.

    Phal Mambo x tetraspis

    Phal Timothy Christopher x Gelblieber
Light yellow color when just opening that fades to white after a week or so

    Phal Caribbean Sunset

    Phal Su-An Cricket

And this is a great lueddemanniana I saw at an exhibition. Unfortunately, the crown was dead and it did not have any keikis so I didn't take it with me.

And last but not least my new Howeara Lava Burst. No phal, sorry, but I don't know where else to put it. I'm really not familiar with everything outside the phals.

    Hope you like it.

We definitely have similar tastes in Phals... I like species and hybrids that look like species! Lovely collection! I particularly like Phal Mambo x tetraspis and Phal Caribbean Sunset.

For the right price, and I mean bargain basement pricing, I'd have taken it and tried keiki paste on it this spring.... 'cause you're right, it is a winner!!!!!!!

Some nice Phals you have there! Too bad Phal Timothy Christopher x Gelblieber doesn't keep that yellow color -- such a nice delicate yellow.

The Lava Burst would be a member of the Oncidium alliance.

You're probably right, and I already regret not having bought this one... :-(

Yes, it's a pity, that yellow is so beautiful in the sunshine.

    Thanks.
