Everyone should have one of these guys. They never stop blooming. Mine's up to 4 spikes now and at least one always has a bloom.

Lovely flower! I love psychopsis--they're soo unique!

I can't wait for mine to bloom...it's certainly taking its time.

Very easy one to grow, Jet. Oncidium light and only water once a week. These guys do not like to stay too wet. I get a new spike with each new growth and each spike blooms for a long, long time. My oldest spike is still going strong after two years.

That's good to know! Since it's so easy, I'm going to see if the orchid show in Atlanta has one in April, but if not I wouldn't be sure where to find one. Maybe you can send me a private message with some hints on where to find this guy? If it's not too much trouble. I'm sure if worse comes to worse I can buckle down and do the research myself. Very cool flower, again.

easy??? I have killed 2 psychopsis already and the 3rd one hanging in the balance. I find
that they really hate being repotted.... they seem to dislike me. My 3rd one
I have tried mounted in coco slab, and it seems to be doing "ok" so far, a new bulb and a
new leaf. I am not giving up tho, I'll still be getting another one when given the chance.

Yes, they hate being repotted. You have to do it very carefully and not disturb the roots to much. I use coconut husk chips with mine so I don't have to repot often. Make sure you have active/new root growth before attempting to repot and remember, they MUST dry out between waterings.
