    Default It finally blooms!

I just wanted to make a quick post, because awhile back I hassled everyone on here because my oncidium was taking weeks to bloom, and I was certain that I'd harmed it somehow. But thanks to everyone's advice, which consisted of, "Leave it alone, it will bloom when it wants," (haha) it did! I know he's a little guy compared to some of your impressive projects, but it's only the second orchid I've managed to bloom on my own, so what can I say? I'm really excited. Have a nice day, guys. Thanks again!

That is a nice looking flower and more!

Do you have a full name of this one? It looks like it has a lot Odontoglossum in its blood...

Thanks guys!! Tom, this is what the tag said: "Odcdm. Floral Factor Rayna." I hope that helps, as it's all the information he came with! Thanks again for the encouragement.

Hahaha! Oh no, Connie! I didn't get it to REbloom, I got it TO bloom! It didn't come to me with any blooms at all, and I had to manage to not screw up for a whole month to get it to open up and bloom! So, that was quite an accomplishment for me, who is used to getting big pretty phals in full bloom for Valentine's and the like. Haha, glad you like it! He is pretty cute. I had no idea what he would look like. I guess I could have looked it up but I wanted to be surprised. I was so scared cause it took so long, but I guess I learned some patience It also turns out he likes to be watered a little bit more than my other oncidium, lol. Live and learn.
