I'v had some first blooms do just this on young seedlings. As the spike gets longer the new blooms will be more upright.

thanks guys!!! its my first bellina and im excited. i wonder where in the house i should put it? any suggestions? also once the bloom is gone, i wanted to put it in a clear pot so i could track the moisture level and root system better. is that advisable?
