Smile Onc Sharry Baby ' Sweet Fragrance' in bloom

My Sharry Baby is in bloom. Just love that chocolate fragrance. Notice the spots on the leaves caused by the exposure to high light in my grow area.

    Lovely!

The leaves do that if they get enough light to bloom. Only person who I have ever seen bloom this orchid without the spots on the leaves is Murray from New Zealand.

    Cheers,
    BD

Beautiful! I am glad to know that I am not the only one with spotted leaves. I worry too much about the leaves on my orchids. I need to face the fact that unless they are in bloom they are not that attractive of a plant--IN MOST CASES,

You are so right Bruce about the spots.I agree with Bill about orchid plants not being the most attractive of plants- IN MOST CASES, so I try to soften the severity of the 'landscape' in my grow-area by also growing other plants particularly ferns, a cycad, anthuriums and begonias. They also help to increase the humidity but unfortunately do provide hiding places for snails.

Mine is just beginning to blossom last year but has dropped all buds and has gone away
Now when I see this pretty blooming I'd like to have it again.
