Default Rhynchostele uro-skinnerii x cordata -they have done it at last

I thought that you would like to see the outcome of Rhynchostele(Odontolgossum) uro-skinnerii x cordata looks like.
Considering both plants have been around since the 1850's and never been crossed.
I got about 6 plants a couple of years ago and this is the first to flower,I have even beaten the breeder to flower this cross.I also have another in spike at this time.
The only thing I dont like about this cross is that all plants that I have seen have followed the uro-skinneri climbing habit.

Nice one, Murray! Can you post a photo of the full spike and plant? I am interested in seeing what you mean by 'climbing' habit of the plant. Thanks and a big congratulations to you for blooming this one first!

    Cheers,
    BD
