    Default Phal violacea var sumatra

This is the second year it blooms for me. This is actually the second flower which opened and there is still another bud. Last year there was only one flower so I am really happy that it is getting healthier. It's leaves are also getting bigger. I really love it plus it has a nice sweet fragrance to it!!

    Thanks for looking guys

It's great to know that your Phal is doing well granting that I think your weather in Jerusalem/Israel is basically hot and dry. Looks like your phal is acclimating very well to your environment.

    Thanks guys for your comments
Hey Jojo...regarding the weather, it is very hot and semi-dry(30 to 50% Humidity in summer) in Jerusalem, but I grow my Orchids in a growing room, with a day temp of 26 -27 degrees and a night one of 22-23 degrees celcius. Using the humidifier, I get a high humidity rate of 80 to 90%. With all that humidity, I use three fans for circulation and it works wonderfully!

    Cheers

    Fadi
