    Default Phalaenopsis NOID in bloom

I finally gave up on the phals in the greenhouse and brought them indoors.

Here is a NOID that is in bloom.

I close the shades in the mid-afternoon so that the plants dont bake in the sun.

The only space with decent light that is out of the kids' reach is on my office desk next to the west facing window.
They seem to be growing better indoors than when they were in the greenhouse. I think there is just too much heat and light in the greenhouse.

Here's a group shot. All the indoor phals are growing in SH.

The top two leaves on each plant sprouted after they were moved indoors. You can tell by the absence of sunburn and mineral deposits on the leaves

I have to set up an indoor shelf to house the phals in my office.

I was thinking about moving mine indoors...same problem. They wilt like crazy in the summer heat here...bring them in and they take off growing.
