    Default Aerangis mystacidii

    This was bought in Feb and it is still working on its 2 spikes. Until last month the spikes just grew and grew.

    wow thats so cool, you will have a nice show with all those bud opening up. I like the way your mount looks in that water cup thing. I wanna see the flowers lol

    Thanks, Byron. The "water cup thing" works really well for me, for whatever reason. So long as only the roots are in the water, the plant really seems to like it.

    Do they ever get rot or something being in the water all the time?? how do the roots get used to being in water without any air circulation

    I add water every 2 days. The roots seem fine. There's some algae growing in there as well. I've heard somewhere that that may control fungus and mold?

    Very nice. look forward to the bloom pictures. shud be awesome with so many in bloom. BTW, does'nt your mount rot since it is there in the water?

    Very healthy plant, part of the plant in water /air . Did you put fertilizer in the water?
