    Default Phalaenopsis Adorno

This is a primary hybrid and then again, it isn't. The parentage is lindenii x intermedia. But since intermedia is a natural primary hybrid in itself, being noted down as Phalaenopsis X intermedia, I'm not sure that Adorno is to be called a true primary hybrid.
Anyway, I love this little baby, got her only yesterday and needed to share. Too bad one of the leaves was attacked by a snail at a certain point, but she will be fine.
She will be crossed with my Phalaenopsis David Lim, as this hasn't been attempted yet, at least according to the RHS parentage and grex database.
Pollenparent will be David Lim, podparent Adorno.

Yes, that is one of the reasons I got it. The spots on the lips are sublime.
The nursery uses Phalaenopsis x intermedia "red lip", with more intense colouring on the lip than the initially registered natural hybrid. Hence the more intense colouring on the spots. Cool right?

    Kind regards,
    Wouter
