Default Its One of Them Red Brothers

I bought this as a seedling few years ago at the time when I didn't care about the names of the orchids, so this one lost its tag also during repotting . Its first bloom was quite nice, little cat's paw markings. But I found out that the markings will qualesce if the plant is place under bright light. This is 3rd blooming and because the plant suffered a setback, its not the best.

I appreciate any suggestions as to its name .

Wow, that's a nice one Tanya... sorry but I can't help out with the name though... good growing and to have it bloom all the way from being a baby... you must be so proud.

    Cheers

    I have no name suggestions,
    but it's very pretty.
I enjoy the highly saturated, and smaller,
    spots.
it only looks like there are three blooms though,
is that usual for the size?
thank you for sharing this pretty one.

Nice job growing it up from a seedling Tanya. I can't help with its name either, but it probably contains the word "Salu" or "Peoker" if it's a Brother clone....

Tim, thanks for the nice comments.

Ennui, last spring this plant produced 8 blooms from a single spike. That same old spike has branched out this year and produced only 4 blooms . I know I should have listened to Louis when he told me to cut off the whole spike to give the plant chance to fully recover because it suffered a set back last summer, but oh well, I'm such a sucker .

Anyway, I finally cut the whole spike off and put it in water. I will probably enjoy the flowers for a couple more weeks.

Its probably "Salu", Louis. But this is such a "chameleon" that I am never sure how the markings will turn up each year.
