    Default Another Lateral Peloric Phalaenopsis

    Hallo my orchid friends..

Here I'd love to share you another lateral peloric Phallaenopsis.

The flower in pic No 1 - 3 are come from the same plant. Sadly to say, this plant already dead because of bacterial rot. I've got this plant from an orchid grower. They produced hundreds pots of this clone, but so far the other ones are normal white flower with purple lip. I always hope to find another peloric specimen there next time.

One petal of left flower in pic no 1, have removed to show the sepal beneath which top half is white, and lower half is purple with side lobe and callus as on labellum. Just like half sepal and half labellum stick together.

The flower in pic no 4, is my newest collection. A kind of miniature multiflora. I bought it last saturday---. I take the pic this morning specially to share to you all... And I have make some cross too. Hoping it can produce seed pod with viable seeds.

Your findings are amazing Fahmi. It's sad you lost the first one though, which was very especial.
