    Default phalaenopsis amabilis

alright this is a question that has been bugging me for a while....

not being a big fan of the huge flat round white phals (you all know what i mean right?), but liking species because their flowers are more interesting to me, i want to acquire a phal. amabilis which looks like this one (taken in the bali orchid garden).

trouble is, all i ever see are flat round forms of amabilis (which are nice, but too flat and round for my taste).

    so my question is this:
where the heck can i find an amabilis that looks like this?

I don't know, Auntymo. But that one looks like Phal philippinensis to me than Phal amabilis, but of course I could be wrong..

Can't answer your question, but the shape of those flowers is VERY cool. Good luck finding it.

I know the big round flat feeling...been there done that. Many love them to death, which is fine too. Good luck in your search!
