    Talking Phal Long Pride Amy

Last summer while picking up some herbs at the local greenhouse, I passed a garden cart full of drenched sorry looking phals. This one was crownrotted and caked in mineral deposits, but it had a tiny basal keiki and a tag. Smugly, I thought- I haven't caused a case of crown rot yet, maybe I should get one to gain experience with. Now that I have crown rotted my carefully-chosen, much-anticipated art shade phal, the two spikes this basal keiki happily shot up give me some hope.

It has 11 flowers, 12 buds and several still-developing branches, so I should get to enjoy those freckles for quite a while.

I think I saw it's cousin yesterday...very nice phal! Great job on reblooming...when it's completely bloomed out it should be amazing.
