    i have a peloric NOID phal, that resembles a butterfly with the pelorism in it-but this is nice! beautiful!

    I suspect there are more peloric forms, Geoff. I would chalk this up, at least in part, due to changes in customers' tastes. Additionally, I wouldn't be surprised if it is partly the result of all the mericloning done these days.

    I, personally, have not seen much of this peloric form in the nurseries around here. Maybe because it is diffrent, it is quickly snapped away when available.

    oooppss........i had one big clump lying down in one corner of my orchid collection, dunno the real value of this plant but when it flowers, long lasting bloom, easily to get seed pots too and i like the central part of the flower, looks like a bull heard with two red horns. here is a pic of what i meant
    infact did not really get a second opinion on this one before, i was told it is doritis (phalenopsis) pulcherrima

    Wow Ian, your pulcherima lip very pretty got red pink and light pink...awesome. Nice stripes too.
