    Went over to my grandfather's house today to take some pictures of his orchids for him. Here are a couple of his phals.

    I agree with you Bruce, the spotted one is my fav. That one was given to him at my grandmother's funeral two years ago. The first year he had it, it must of bloomed for 6 months or more, the spike just kept growing. The other one is 10+ years old. It got knocked over, pot got broke, but it sent out a spike almost immediately afterward, guess the stress is what it needed to bloom.

    Sometimes stress does help them bloom. Very true.

    i might keep the stress theory in mind lol.....nut if the cops come knockin on your door, you know nothing ok?
    i do like the spotted one, but the other is very similar to mine, only a bit lighter in colour (for some reason my pics wont upload even after resizeing and formatting....)
