    Smile Phal. Pinlong Cherry 'fragrance'

This lovely little flower looks simple and pink. But when you sit next to it for a little while you begin to smell this lovely almost Cattleya type strong perfume. Personally; while some of the flowers at the nursery may have been more colorful, I was struck by the artistic look of the plant overall. The shape reminds me of a bonsai tree.

There is a small basall keikei in the front. I love the shape of this phal...

While I enjoy raising other types of orchids, I think i'm going to have to say the simple Phal is my favorite.

Wow, Connie, that's an amazing Phal - it looks like a photo shoot for an advertisement in a posh magazine! The rest of what you have in the background looks so nice, too. My area is so crowded (not a complaint - I don't want anything to die off so I'll have more room!!) it's hard to appreciate any one thing. But appreciate I do - hear that, orchid babies?!?!

Thanks for sharing your lovely flowers.

Very pretty. Are the leaves slightly mottled? I really want to find some fragrant ones soon.

Yes the leaves are mottled. I don't find the mottled leaves here very often either.

Mottled leaves, beautiful flowers, multi spikes and a basal keiki......what's not to love. This one seems to have it all in one package. Congrats on a great find.
