    Unhappy Baby Phalaenopsis

I went to my local groceries store and i see this table full of orchids that were DYING. IT BREAKS MY HEART to know that such a beautiful plant has no future in there but i dont have enough money to by them all, so i decided i was going to try to save 2 of them. The flowers are so pretty, i hope that at least they get to grow big and strong with me. I had to repot them the day i got the cause the material they were sit on had mould and it was disgusting and i cut there dead roots too.

I would suggest removing the blooms/spikes to give the plants a chance to redirect it's energy to recovery.

Keep an eye out for any bad coloring at the crown. If you see any problems pour some hydrogen peroxide onto the bad area until it quits bubbling. You may need to put it on a few times, then remove with a paper towel. Use a fan to keep the air movement up and hopefully they will pull through for you.

Oh, Emeli, what a good Samaritan you are. I hope you will be rewarded for your efforts.
