    Default Another para labukensis hybrid

The color changes from labukensis' dark brown to yellow as the spike ages. Grown on a tree roughly 50% shade. No smell.

They fade out, huh? I feel like that myself, at times; however, I never looked this good to begin with! Those are really pretty - thanks for sharing.

If I faded from brown to yellow it would be called jaundice, but on this orchid I think that's one beautiful transition! AL

I have three different variations of this and they all change to yellow after sometime but with slightly different shapes and colors at the start. I guess these are from seed pot with the same cross. Thanks for looking guys.
