So the Phalaenopsis capital of the world produces so many of these orchids that they get thrown away after blooming.......... By the way these are all beautiful and better than what I have seen at the box stores here in New Mexico. Many of the Phals here have something of a 'pedestrian look' to them. Wonderful collection and so many blooms at once...........AL

Sometimes when i'm at one of the stores with phals, there will be ladies buying them for parties or just to put around the house. As soon as the one before it looks bad they throw them away and buy new ones. My first thought is always, how could you throw such a pretty plant away? My second thought is nearly always...I wonder where they live and which trash day they throw them out on. ....course then I get the picture of my OH shaking his head at me. lol What a great set of phals!! I love that they are all rescues too....great job.

They are all lovely but the second to last one is so gorgeous. The coloring is unlike any I've seen so far.

Shane! Lucky you! I really love the one with red center and yellow around the outside...outstanding! Good work getting them to rebloom for you. I do a lot of rescues myself and never claim one as my own until I get it to bloom for me. Regards, Remo!

Many of my Phals are rescues. If you are in any business you will often see a Phal that has dropped off its blooms and is almost ready for the trash bin. If you ask, they usually just give you the thing free. I already have to many NOID Phals though.
