    Default street rescues Phal orchids

I love that taiwan just throws orchids out after they flower. Here is some of the many phals i've picked out of the trash or just found sitting on the roadside...all are in at least their second flowering (i dont claim them as mine til i get them to flower on my own) if i post these successfully i will be putting up some of my more cherished plants!

Wow - I wish someone would throw that last orchid out for me to find. Love the beautiful blooms!

And you can throw the first one in my direction! I would love to go "dumpster diving" and come home with this type of "trash".

These are beautiful! I'm quite a fan of the first one, I've never seen coloring like that. Funny how people who aren't fanatics think they've killed their plant when it doesn't flower again immediately. As the saying goes, "one man's trash is another's treasure!"

We have become such a "disposable society" in the world - it pains me to see how wasteful we are. On the other hand, look what you get out of the deal!!

i'm will be in the flower market on saturday, if these are being used for event decorations this year and are flowering now that means they will most def be there, if i see them i will write the name down for ya and let you know...keep in mind, taiwan does have a lot of growers that produce insane numbers of crosses constantly, so it may not be available internationally yet...i could always 'no return address' one to you ;-)
