    Default Miltoniopis Fire Water

    A young plant, in my collection for a couple of years now flowering for the first time ; two spikes of five flowers from one bulb . Quite nice, I think. Enjoy!

    The pattern on the lip is known as the mask - in the case of the dark red patch surrounding the centre of the flower, but the extension of this like tear drops is called "waterfall pattern" - on some hybrids it is more extensive than this, and it does make for interesting flowers .
