    Default My past phal blooms.

Well, seeing that there is nothing currently blooming at my place right now, I thought I would post some pics of my past phal blooms.

    Here is my Penang Girl.

This was the first ID'd phal I obtained, and the first phal that I didn't buy in bloom. If you look closely, you will notice in the pic that it has pollina in the stigmatic cavity, which was 'donated' by the next plant, Tying Shin '?'.

Here is a picture of the developing capsule.

Here is my Leucadia Sunset. The flower shape wasn't the best, but the other flower that had WAY better shape lost its' dorsal sepal, so I didn't take a picture of it, thankfully it has another 2+ buds developing, so I can see it in its' full glory!

Great looking phal orchids, Cody! I spread them out into individual posts to help the page load faster for those on slower connections. The general rule is no more than 4 images per post.

    Cheers,
    BD

Thanks for sharing those, Cody - they are beautiful! I think my favorite was the Tying Shin, because the color was so unusual.

Thanks for all the complements, I actually still have a few phals to bloom. Other than the ones you see, I also have an amboinensis, venosa, Yin's Green Jewel, and two seedlings, a violacea 'Blue,' and a (Leucadia Farewell x ATL Crossing) AND! In just a week or so, I am adding five new blooming sized phals, violacea var. Sumatra, violacea var. alba, cornu-cervi var. flava, Sigrid Grote (lobbii x Brother Pepride), and a Mamba. This order will take me to a grand total of 15 phals! Which, of course, is only the beginning!
